Final edit of my music video is now DONE. Hooraaaay :)
Just boring evaluation stuff to do now.... wahh :(

Filming and editing

Oops...I haven't blogged in ages! I've been reallyy busy with exams and other stuff happening at the moment though, and I just keep forgetting! :$

Finished filming all shots a couple of weeks ago now, and I'm well into editing :) I found out whilst putting my shots together and cutting them down that some will need to be re-filmed :\ this is mainly due to realllyy bad lighting, but one is because two different characters in the video look the same! (Me and my sister ;) ) But it's only about 3 shots that need to be filmed again so it's ok.

Music video is looking good so far though :) hopefully get it done for the deadine!

New Yearrrr :) filming and other stuffs

First day back and I'm stressing a bit because I didn't do any filming over the holidays :S in all fairness though, all of my locations are places in school, so I didn't really have the chance.
I only have about 20 something shots left anyway, so it shouldn't be impossible to be done by next week. I usually spend YEARS in editing though, so I need to finish filming as soon I can really.

Saying that, I'll be filming in my two frees tomorrow so hopefully I'll get a lot done :) (depending on cooperation of others, of course :P)

Started looking for some confessions or secrets online and found a couple of websites: http://www.secretchest.com/ and http://www.postsecret.com/. Some are a bit weird to be honest, but I found a few good ones that have given me some inspiration for the confession cards :)
I'll probably be making those up at the weekend- just some coloured card and felt tips, nothing fancy :)

Filming so far

Ok, like last Wednesday, I filmed in my double free and got some shots of the narrative done. Didn't get as much filmed as I would have hoped for 2 hours which is a bit disappointing but oh well :\ looks like I'm not getting everything filmed before Christmas like I hoped! Never mindddd

On a brighter note, I have just about finished the constraints essay, which is about particular constraints that may have affected my production, like money, copyright, etc. Just need to attach a few documents to the appendix and I'm done :)

First day of filming...

Went well yesterday :) got all the shots of the band that I needed and hoping that they'll look alright when uploaded onto the Macs :S

I completely forgot to take pictures of setting up though!! D: I'll have to take some on Wednesday when I'm filming part of the narrative.

I made a few changes to some of the shot types when I was filming so I'll have to include those on the final second-by-second or shotlist.

I'll upload some pictures on here by Wednesday hopefully :)

Nearly finished everything now :) *I think*

Done the shotlist and made a couple of minor changes whilst I was making the second-by-second over the weekend (when I was ill! :O)
Glad they're done now though :)

Going to ring up the rehearsal rooms tonight and see if I can book out one of the rooms for two hours on Sunday :)
Oooh, and I need to take some photos of the places where I'm filming around college and that's pretty much it :)

Call Sheet and other stuff

Ok, just on the call sheet at the moment, about half way through now :)
Also took pictures of the rehearsal rooms on Saturday and got the manager to sign a location release form :D yaay.

I've just started a second-by-second now as well, so when I've finished all these I'll probably be able to start filming (hopefully next weekend, fingers crossed everyone is available though!) if not, it'll have to be the week after :)
